About Nystop

What is Nystop?

Nystop is used to treat fungal skin infections. Nystop is considered to be an antifungal that works by stopping the growth of fungi by damaging the fungal cell membrane.

How do I take Nystop?

Nystop is meant for topical use only. Cleanse and thoroughly dry the affected area. Apply the medication to this area, usually two times daily unless directed otherwise by your doctor. Nystop powder should lightly coat the affected area, avoiding as much surrounding skin as possible. Wash your hands immediately after applying Nystop and do not wrap, cover, or bandage the area unless directed to do so.

What if I forget to take a dose of Nystop?

If you forget a dose of your Nystop medication, apply it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed one.

What happens if I overdose on Nystop?

Unlike with most medications, an overdose with Nystop is unlikely. Nevertheless, seek immediate medical attention if the medication is ingested or if you suspect overdose or an allergic reaction.

Before taking Nystop, tell your doctor if:

  • You are allergic to Nystop or any other drugs

  • You take any prescription or nonprescription medications, including vitamins.

  • You are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding.

What are the possible side effects of taking Nystop?

Some side effects of Nystop that you should contact your doctor about include: itching, irritation, or burning.

How do I store Nystop?

Any Nystop medication should be kept in the container it came in, tightly closed, and away from children. Store Nystop powder in the refrigerator. Do not allow Nystop to freeze. Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.

Warnings
