Symptoms of low blood sugar include the following: sweating; dizziness; irregular heartbeat; tremor; hunger; restlessness; tingling in the hands, feet, lips, or tongue; lightheadedness; inability to concentrate; headache; drowsiness; sleep disturbances; anxiety; blurred vision; slurred speech; depressed mood; irritability; abnormal behavior; unsteady movement; personality changes; seizures; loss of consciousness; or confusion. After mixing this medicine, use immediately. Throw away any unused portion. Do not use this medicine after the date stamped on the bottle. Seek medical attention immediately after use. You may need further medical evaluation. Tell the doctor or health care provider that you have received an injection of this medicine. WHEN USED AS PART OF A MEDICAL TEST OR PROCEDURE: This medicine is usually administered as an injection at your doctor's office, hospital, or clinic. If you are using this medicine at home, a healthcare professional will provide detailed instructions for its appropriate use. Ask any questions that you may have about this medicine or giving injections. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, contact your doctor right away.

If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include diarrhea, fast heartbeat, nausea, severe headache or dizziness, or vomiting.

Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with this medicine. INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. ADDITIONAL MONITORING OF YOUR DOSE OR CONDITION may be needed if you are taking anticholinergics (eg, tolterodine), anticoagulants (eg, warfarin), beta-blockers (eg, propranolol), or indomethacin. TELL YOUR DOCTOR if you are also using insulin before you use this medicine for a diagnostic procedure. DO NOT START OR STOP any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. USE OF THIS MEDICINE IS NOT RECOMMENDED if you have certain tumors on your adrenal gland (pheochromocytoma) or pancreas (insulinoma). SIDE EFFECTS that may occur after using this medicine include nausea or vomiting. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience fainting, fast or slow heartbeat, or severe headache or dizziness. AN ALLERGIC REACTION to this medicine is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing or swallowing; tightness in the chest; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, throat, or tongue.
