About Ecoza

What is Ecoza?

Ecoza is the brand name for an antifungal medication called econazole. Econazole works by killing certain types of fungus and is used to treat various types of fungal infections including jock itch, athlete’s foot, ringworm and thrush. However, the Ecoza foam medication is only prescribed for foot infections, especially ringworm.

How do I take Ecoza?

Ecoza is for topical use only. Do not get this medication in your eyes, nose, mouth or try to use it to treat vaginal infections. Always follow your doctor’s dosing instructions. Always finish the full course of medication prescribed by your doctor and wash your hands after each application.

What if I forget to take a dose of Ecoza?

If you miss an application of Ecoza, apply the missed dose as soon as you remember it. If it’s almost time for your next application, skip the missed dose and continue on your regular routine. Do not apply two consecutive doses of Ecoza to make up for a missed one.

What happens if I overdose on Ecoza?

Overdose on Ecoza is highly unlikely if you follow the proper instructions for use. If you or someone else accidentally ingests Ecoza, call the Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222.
